Tulsa library to host free series on genealogy

Tulsa City-County Library’s Genealogy Center is hosting a Family History Month series featuring a variety of programs for new genealogy researchers, as well as lifetime enthusiasts.

The free programs begin Saturday and will last through July 29. All sessions will be held at Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.

After attending the programs, the library invites genealogy researchers to visit the Genealogy Center, 2901 S. Harvard. The center has one of the largest genealogical collections in Oklahoma, according to a press release from the library. It is also designated as an official Family Search Center, enabling it to borrow resources from the largest genealogy collection in the world – the Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
