Discover roots of your genealogy at Stokes Library May 5
|The African American Genealogical Society of Cleveland
is hosting “Unlocking the Mystery of Family History” from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday in the Stokes Auditorium at the Cleveland Public Library’s Main
Library, 325 Superior Ave., Cleveland. Guest speakers will be Kimberly Powell,
professional genealogist and author of the book “Everything Guide to Online
Genealogy,” and Shamele Jordon of the PBS series “Oprah’s Roots: An African
American Lives Special.” Registration for the event is $30 ($10 additional for
box lunch) and $35 at the door ($10 additional for box lunch if available). For
