Art auction to beneifit library genealogy department

VERO BEACH —
The Genealogy Department of the Indian River County Main Library in downtown Vero Beach is having a silent art auction from May 1 to Sept. 11.

The proceeds will go into a fund, set up by the Friends of the Indian River County Library, for equipment needs such as computers and a book scanner for the Genealogy Department.

The paintings are donated by local artists. Any artist who would like to donate a framed painting, contact Joy Eakin at (772) 567-7880.

Art lovers will get some great bargains from local talent and benefit the genealogy department.
