LAKE ELSINORE: Genealogy society hosting speaker
|A genealogist will speak Wednesday to members of The Lake Elsinore Genealogy Society.
Jean Wilcox Hibben, a board-certified genealogist, will speak at the meeting, set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Her topic is “Turning Genealogy into Family History: Creating Stories from Stats.”
Hibben has worked with family research for more than 30 years. She is a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Genealogical Speakers Guild and the Corona Genealogical Society, of which she is president.
She is a board member for the Association of Professional Genealogists and serves as president of the Southern California Chapter. She is director of the Corona California Family History Center and is a volunteer at the Pacific Region Facility of the National Archives in Riverside County.
Visitors are welcome to the meeting, which will be in the community room of the Mission Trail Library, 34303 Mission Trail, Wildomar.
